Which PokéBonk? Original, Touchzada and OpenGame Compared

Identify Charcher’s original PokéBonk, Touchzada’s separate project and OpenGame’s Pocket Survivor adaptation before following a gameplay guide.

Which PokéBonk does this wiki cover?

Pokebonk.wiki covers Charcher’s original game at pokebonk.com. Our checked menu displayed Beta v0.5.5 on October 17, 2026. Its new-Guest starter selection offers Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle; our starter comparison records direct checks of all three.

Two other same-name projects appear in search results. They have their own rules and should be identified before following advice about starters, bosses, controls or multiplayer.

Compare the three domains and editions

Version How to identify it What we checked
Charcher’s original pokebonk.com; our menu showed Beta v0.5.5; Guest, League and region-preparation screens. Live English menus, partner profiles and brief desktop Classic openings. This is the version covered by our gameplay guides.
Touchzada’s separate PokeBonk pokebonk.solais.cloud; introduced by Touchzada on PokéCommunity. The author’s announcement, rather than a playtest of that project. Its roster and online-play claims belong to that version.
OpenGame’s PokeBonk: Pocket Survivor opengame.app/games/pokebonk; the page labels it an independent fan adaptation. It lists Pikachu, Charmander and Squirtle and a two-minute golem challenge. OpenGame’s own current description and embedded title screen; no completed run or boss test.

On a phone, swipe the table sideways if a column is outside the visible area. Similar names do not make these editions’ mechanics interchangeable.

Is OpenGame hosting the original game?

OpenGame’s PokeBonk page explicitly describes an independent adaptation inspired by pokebonk.com, with its own code, art and compact single-player rules. During our check, its embedded title screen offered Pikachu, Charmander and Squirtle and displayed a 2:00 timer.

That is a useful identity check, not an instruction for Charcher’s game. Do not import OpenGame’s two-minute challenge or Pikachu-first starter advice into our Classic and Survival guide. We verified the adaptation’s displayed labels, not a successful golem fight.

How is Touchzada’s project identified?

The PokéCommunity author announcement introduces Touchzada’s PokeBonk and links to pokebonk.solais.cloud. Its roster, move and online-play descriptions refer to that separate project. This wiki does not treat the announcement as a specification for pokebonk.com.

The Charcher announcement, the original domain and the live menus help identify the project we cover.

Does the original have the other game’s multiplayer features?

We have not verified a cooperative-play flow in the covered version. Clan and leaderboard menus do not establish cooperative gameplay. We therefore do not advertise an eight-player mode for pokebonk.com based on another project’s announcement. Check the original developer’s current news for later changes.

How do you check a guide before following it?

  1. Compare the domain in the guide with the game tab you actually opened.
  2. Read the author/project name and version note.
  3. Compare the menu labels and starter choices with the instructions.
  4. If they differ, check the guide’s verification date before assuming the game is broken.

Our Play Original links open Charcher’s English entry. We do not host a copy or manage game accounts. Use the starting guide for its Guest → League → region flow, desktop controls for its key bindings, or browser troubleshooting when the original fails to load.

Sources and verification

Checked October 17, 2026. Primary gameplay checks cover pokebonk.com, menu Beta v0.5.5, and the limited desktop scope stated above. The Touchzada identification is based on the linked author announcement. OpenGame’s edition was checked against its own live page and embedded starter/title screen; no playthrough of that adaptation is claimed. Screenshots and runs elsewhere in this wiki belong to the original game unless explicitly labelled otherwise.
